I have an older Mac with OS HIGH SIERRA 10.13.6, is there any to upgrade? It says I have an incompatible update: iMovie 10.3.1. anyway to get around this update problem?

I have an older Mac with OS High Sierra 10.13.6 To upgrade it says that I have "an incompatible update - iMovie 10.3.1 on Nov. 15, 2021. Do use iMovie. Is there any way to get around this to do an upgrade?

I am trying to install a new HP printer that needs a newer upgrade.

Sorry, a mid 2011 iMac can be upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.6 but no later version. See: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support

The model year of an iMac is available at Apple menu > About This Mac.
