How can I connect a USB to Serial port adapter unto my 13 inch MacBook Pro M1 2020, or what adapter works best in case there is one that can go directly from USB-C to Serial Port DB9. male

You can buy a USB-C to USB adapter at two for US$10 on Amazon.
Be sure to get the one with the correct sexes for your applications, as both directions are available.
64-bit drivers are in the latest download available, and Rosetta emulation will run it on an M1 Mac.

what are you trying to connect with a serial port?
I need to connect a PLC through my virtual machine, but the adapter dose not work. I have a TU-S9 a DIKWAN and none of them works
