I have searched high and low for a way to report a comment for moderators to review. Only relevant information I found was that the ability to report has been disabled. I’ve tried this an iOS and macOS safari and it’s not available from what I can tell. Please help!

The previous awards system has been discontinued. What counts are the levels (points) you have been awarded - you have 21 currently. You need 150 (or level 2) to report a post. When you reach that, there will be a button to do so as shown in the screenshot of your post above mine while clicking on the down arrow.
the report function is mostly to report posts that violate the ToU; they do not cover posts that are simply incorrect or irrelevant. If incorrect, just post the correct information and address the original poster.

You need to earn 150 points or over (Level 2) to be able to report.

That's apparently the word on the street.
However, the terms based upon the link that it sends new users (like myself) conveys differently.... at least to me.
OK, I understand that. But..
on iOS Safari accessing the Apple communities, there’s a pop up at the bottom of my screen that states: “You just earned the Discover award! See it on your profile or learn more about awards and perks.”
Communities moderator or web dev needs to update the user achievement page to reflect your statement as it states incorrect information.
maybe it would be advantageous for one of you guys to create a new account and see for yourself. It would only take a couple of minutes. In my eyes, per the mentioned, in order to reach the next level, the only option is to report a comment. And, a level 1 user is unable to do so.
Who can I contact to have this taken care of?

I simply restated what you said highlighting the implication like they’re doing the consumer base a favor!
my response was that it was a good decision and it’s good for everybody because it’s saving everybody time and everybody money. IMO, would be a waste of resources to disallow and force people to call Apple support.

I do not know as I have not encountered the problem at all and we cannot question the hosts (mods). This is Apple’s site made available to end users.
