Has this issue been updated/corrected recently or is one still not able to collapse sub folders in icloud email?

I have the exact same issue. I can't believe that Apple doesn't have this as an option. I contacted Apple support and the support person told me that it's not an option. 200 folders and sub folders are all visible and searching them is a pain in the butt. Surely there is an answer to this.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I have not been able to resolve my problem of collapsing e mail folders on my iphone or iPad? I can do it on my laptop in Windows but not on phone or ipad where i have to scroll though a long list of sub folders?
Any advice as to whether this is possible would be appreciated.

This has yet to be resolved. Spoke to Apple call centre and they did a screen share and I was informed that the iCloud mail does not have this capability - BS if you ask me.
