Unable to connect a MacBook Air with M1 chip to a new Linksys router AX4200
All other Macs work fine no issues connecting. Apple tech support suggested using WPA3 security so I changed the router settings to WPA3/WPA2 personal. Still no luck. The error message I keep getting is asking for a WPA2/WPA3 password. Tech support advised to use the router password used by other machines. STILL no luck. I even went to see a genius and of course it connected to the store's wifi (open security). I tried to return the machine but the genius said everything is working after running a diagnostic. So, do I have a machine that will only function with a hard connection? Kinda useless as a notebook.
