Hello, I noticed after the 15.4 iOS update earlier this week that the music player doesn't consistently move from track to track seemlessly like it should. It often (though not always) inserts a very brief pause between songs. Naturally this is very annoying when listening to music that moves seemlessly from one song to another, such as during a live recording. Is this a known bug?

I’m also having this issue still, most notably on the album “Colors II” by “Between the Buried and Me”. Not only is there a gap between tracks but it also skips track 3 when playing the album in full. No luck troubleshooting either. Hopefully gets fixed soon.
Hi guys, I have exactly the same problem when listening to seemlessly recorded numbers in the gym using my bluetooth Apple headphones. Highly annoying as I use the beat from dance music as a rhythm for stroken or movement. Every now and then the transition in music is seemlessly, but most of the times I get 1 or 2 seconds of quietness. Utterly surprised that Apple hasn't been able to fix this with an update. Please keep posting and let me know if they came up with a solution...

I have the same issue since 15.4. It sucks since I use white noise for sleeping - every few minutes when the track repeats there’s a break in the white noise. So annoying! Come on Apple, do better! :( posting this now because I can’t sleep!
I've noticed of late that the aggravating pauses aren't as random as it seemed at first. For me, they occur in every other track transition. So if there's no pause between tracks 1 and 2, there is one between 2 and 3, then none between 3 and 4, then one between 4 and 5, and so on.
So bush league.
I’ve been experimenting since this glitch started…playing a lot of vinyl and CDs when at home. It’s really eye opening to realize just how superior the sound quality is of them, when compared to mp3 files, even when loaded at highest resolution. This has been a wake up call… I dont think i’m willing to sacrifice quality of sound for convenience anymore.
Yep, I've got a different and very well known player installed for now which has brought its own issues- some Apple Music downloads are fine and others are invisible to it.
I find myself longing for the days when music players did just that before everyone was trying to build a subscription into them and build a media business out of it (obviously somewhat ironic given iTunes pretty much started that)
Don’t think they can help as they don’t know why the problem of why this is happening. Wish Apple would fix this issue though because it is sooo annoying! Love Apple products and have been an avid iTunes user for years and now in the last month or two their are gaps in between my recordings from time to time and makes for horrible play back of your music while retrying to listen and enjoy. Why they can’t or haven’t fixed the problem already is beyond me.

I'm getting random gaps inbetween tracks too which is really frustrating as I use my Ipad when teaching my fitness classes. Has anybody heard from apple regarding this?
Dealing with the same issue and it is really frustrating. I have noticed this issue on all devices that use the music app. It is also an issue on the HomePod.
Hopefully not too far away now more people have made them aware of it. So frustrating.
I'm having the same issue. This is beyond annoying, especially during soundtracks.
Thag works a treat but kind of puts a crimp into the whole “streaming music” bit unfortunately 😂
