Mass deletion of unread yahoo emails

Is there an easier way to perform a mass deletion of unread yahoo emails? Or a good strategy to beat the “click and scroll down to highlight 50+ at a time?” ...As that is rather time consuming since I let the floodgates open and did not maintain my account.

I’d love to delete my entire unread “folder” at once. I do have the updated yahoo mail account. Thanks
