Photos not going to photo stream IOS 15.4

I have the same problem. Since the iOS update to 15.4, my iPhone photos don't go to my photo stream.

Why are the photos not streaming with 15.4 when they were on 15.3......I do not like using iCloud to store things.......I manually back up to my iMac.

It works perfectly on my old iphone 5 and my wife's iphone 13, but not on the 11. The other 2 transfer them as square with no problems. Icloud photo library is off.

This worked for me. They're now showing up on photostream on my phone.

I suspected this, but then there is no reason for me not to switch to a cheaper Android phone. I sure hope the Advisor you spoke to was misinformed

It still doesn't work well even with switching to "most compatible". It only works sometimes.

On my iPhone 13, it doesn’t work at all, even when set to “Most compatible.” A few weeks ago, it worked for screenshots but not for photos.

My iphone 11 set to high efficiency now works on 15.5 too! Yippee!

I think they fixed it. I'll re-post if it acts up again.

Yep. Finally all working again and all devices set back to “keep originals” mode. Now just need to sort out last months pics.
