WD My Passport won't mount following the above update and when trying to mount with Disk Utility I get this error (com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error 49221.) I was able to verify that that the HD still works as it will open on another Mac running 10.15.7. Any suggestions or fixes out there?

1. On my IMac running Catalina 10.15.7, after an update, the error "com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error 49221" occurred.
2. After a web search for reports of the same problem, I decided to install the Paragon driver "NTFS_for_Mac.dng" and followed the installation instructions, including rebooting the computer.
3. The new driver failed to mount my external drives (SeaGate Backup plus portable drive).
4. I decided to uninstall the new driver.
5. Miracle! Like the donkey that played the flute. After rebooting the IMac, my two external drives appeared fresh and clean on the desktop, perfectly mounted and fully usable.
6. I hope a similar path will help those who cannot access their Seagate external drives.

i spoke too soon. It lets me see the drive read-only. :(
Easy Fix is Pls reboot your iMac and Install your current OS again. Turn off the security update for 10.15.7 DO NOT UPDATE. IT will work fine
Yes, do not install "Security Update 2022-003." Hopefully, Apple will release Update 2022-004 soon.

I try to install the latest paragon software via WD software, but nothing fixed.
Who can return my lost an hour updating software and another hour fixing mounting problem.
Yes, I have installed the new update, works again like before the security update that caused the mounting issue. Install the update 2022-004 without fear :—)
