HBO Max app not working since ios15.4 upgrade to Apple TV A1842 (64GB)

HBO Max app not working since ios15.4 upgrade to Apple TV A1842 (64GB). Not working means when you click on the HBO Max app you see 3 dots for 5 seconds then goes back to the main screen.

Also noted that HBO Max app works on my older generation iTV in the bedroom. HBO Max also works on my iPhone 12 (ios 15.4).

Also noticed that in "Settings" that the HBO Max app is not longer listed as an app on the iTV. So I went to the "APP Icon" and clicked on the HBO Max because it stated, "HBO Max upgraded app".

Still have the same problem. Any suggestions before I delete the HBO Max app and re-add in back again?

On my bill I saw an option for saying it was not working, and Apple sent me an email to call Apple Actual Human Tech Support. They had me “reset” which means deleting everything and adding it back manually and that fiixed my problem!

Addtional Information: I checked all other apps and only found one other not working, CNET app is ding the same thing. No error message just returns you to the main screen. I deleted CNET app and added it back but still have the same problem. Hulu, Prime, YouTube all work fine.

Odd, you go to sleep and everything is fine. Wake up and HBO Max does not work.

I’m having the same issue. Tried disconnecting and restarted. Tried to offload app but still not working. I had the same problem awhile back with the Showrime app.
