I recently upgraded to the iPhone 13. 256 GB. I deleted and cleared the deleted folder all of my pictures except for like 20 and a few videos very short. When I go to iPhone memory in settings it shows it photos is using 50 GB of data. Where is that 50 GB? No shared folders anymore, nothing except about 20 pictures and a few short videos, nowhere near in the range of 5 GB let alone 50.

Full memory data in iPhone Hi community, I am using iPhone 7 32G. It’s obvious that my space disk has been full so I free up photos to get more space. But the fact is when I deleted hundreds of photos and 73 videos already, yet the storage of Photos still keeps 17G of total. It’s so weird. Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

storage issue Before deleting 1800 photoes from the iphone the storage has 100 gb of empty space. After deleting the photoes empty space has reduced to 5 gb. What is the problem with the iphone.? Please somebody explain it to me.

Iphone storage Hey all, My iphone 12 Pro has a memory of 128 GB but now it is full and when i check the details of the iphone storage I find that photos is taking 85 GB however I only have 10K photos and videos (the longest one is 2 minutes) and every time I delete as much photos as I can I find that it didn’t free up a considerable space (1K photos emptied 2 GB). I also have to mention that the photos app always lags and whenever I open it I have to wait around 2 minutes to start doing anything in the app. thanks.

You can learn more about your storage usage in your iPhone settings.

Use your device to check its storage:

Go to Settings > General > [Device] Storage.

Does the storage still show as 50 GB after a normal restart of your iPhone?

If you open the Photos app, do you see any other photos or videos here that might be using the storage?

We hope this helps to further isolate the storage issue.

Yep. Still shows 50gb. I guess i could just delete the app, and then re-DL it…

Oh wait, I can’t delete it, so I guess I’m screwed out of 50 gigs of storage.
