Sleep Focus doesn’t stop Stand Reminders

I wear my Apple Watch in bed in order to to be woken up without waking up my wife and to track my sleep.

I use the Sleep Focus feature, which is triggered by my Sleep Schedule.

I occasionally postpone my Sleep Schedule Wake up time when I have had to go to bed later than planned.

This system sounds fine to me in theory, but in practice a Stand Reminder occasionally gets triggered at 5.50 am while I had postponed my Wake up alarm from 6.00 to 7.00.

I am aware that I can deactivate Stand reminders each evening before going to bed and deactivate them in the morning but it’s a bother to do so everyday and logically I shouldn’t have to.

Is this a known bug?

Do I have to activate Do not disturb on top of Sleep Focus or is this redundant like I had assumed?

Hello medcape,

When you have the Sleep Focus enabled, do you have it set to be enabled across your devices? The first picture in the following resource shares how to check if "Share Across Devices" is enabled: Use Focus on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Also, when postponing your sleep alarm, are you postponing it using the Sleep feature or the Clock app?

This can help us narrow down and isolate what can be the cause of this issue.

We look forward to hearing from you. Take care.
