Black screen on youtube Safari IOS 15.4

I use browser named Brave and it all goes through Safari, and when I want to watch some youtube videos everything is black and I can only hear audio. Later I tried to watch youtube on Safari to see is it problem with Brave, but I have same problem on Safari too. I tried everything, deleting History and Cookies, restarting all settings, restarting network settings and force restarting but nothing of that worked. That start happening when I updated my iPhone to IOS 15.4, before I updated everything worked fine. I want to fix it so badly but there is no way of doing it and I'm so mad about it. Please if anyone knows how to fix it please help me.

Hello Luksaa,

Are you able to play videos directly from the YouTube app? How about videos in other non-browser apps?

Also, under Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, is anything turned on here? Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Hi Luksaa,

Since this happened in your Brave app too and it looks like it has additional features such as Ad-Block, Firewall and VPN that can affect your network and how things are viewed on the internet, if you temporarily uninstall the app (not just disable it) to ensure all the features are turned off and test again, does it work? This can help isolate what is going on. If it continues, try a few other network related steps and test after each one.If using Wi-Fi, test with cellular. If using cellular, test with Wi-Fi. Test using a different Wi-Fi network. Check for any additional security apps or private browsing and optimization apps and temporarily uninstall them. Check for additional VPN apps and Settings > General > VPN (even if it says Not Connected) and temporarily uninstall them. See if there are any profiles related to your network in Settings > General > Profile. (Note: you will not have this setting if there are none).

Hi,

Yeah I can watch YouTube videos through app but I would like to watch it through Brave, I mean I don't mind watching it through YouTube app but if there is any way to watch it through Brave I would like to watch through it. I checked my Content & Privacy Restrictions and nothing is turned on. Should it be turned on or turned off? Thanks for replying.

Hi,

I contacted Brave support and they told me it's probably problem with my phone or something like that because I have same problem on Safari not just on their browser. I don't know what can I do next because no one knows how to fix it.
