New iPhone Software Update 02/21/2022 - What Happened to the iPhone Alarm App?!

Okay so hey y'all.

Just a little feedback....whoever redesigned the alarm app, guys, after the new software update, interacting with (setting) the alarms feels unpleasantly reminiscent of the early 2010s- why was this change to the user interface made so we can no longer manually input a desired alarm time using the keypad on our iPhones?

When we go into the clock and set an alarm, we can no longer type in a specific time, rather we must use the scroll wheel to set each alarm. Perhaps this change comes on the heels of a large amount of user feedback that I'm not aware of, but I personally loved being given the option within the alarm clock interface to manually input the time, rather than fool around with the scrolling wheels to set the alarms. I hope your team can please take this into consideration and revert back to the earlier alarm clock feature.

It's such a commonly utilized feature for such a large pool of iPhone users, I'd imagine, and disrupting this so fundemantally and so suddenly in favor of what I see as a regression to where the iPhone alarms cloc's UI/UX was over 4 years ago just seems counterintuitive. Anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?

Well, it was a lot of feedback from people that liked the scroll wheels. I understand your pain. However, if you are attempting to set an alarm, when you get there and see those horrid scroll wheels, tap in between the hour and minute. It will put a colon between the hour and minute and bring up a numeric keypad for you to type the time into the alarm. Make your other settings and Save it.
