Why is my continuity markup not working?

I am using Macbook pro Monetary 12.3 and my iPad version is iPadOS 15.4 i also have Wi-fi and Bluetooth on, on both of devices but when i open the pdf and click on markup tool it shows this,



there is no option of iPad as shown here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204975

What is the problem here??


I also have checked box handoff between this mac and your cloud services in system preferences

Continuity Sketch and Continuity Markup is compatible with an iPad Pro and iPad (5th generation) or later. If your iPad is compatible, we'd like to proceed with some additional troubleshooting steps that will allow us to further isolate the issue:

• Verify if the issue persists in another user account as shown here: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac• Test the issue using safe mode. Your screen may flash or load very slow. This is normal behavior for safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac

Hello Jainam66,

We have a few questions for you just to help us clarify and isolate this issue. Are you signed into the same iCloud account on both devices? Are both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network? We ask because some routers may have 2.4ghz, 5ghz or a guest connection. Have you tried resetting both devices? Do you experience this with other apps also?
