universal control won't wake display sleep

I am having the same issue. As a workaround you can use VNC Remote Desktop to wake up the nearby mini by setting up a VNC shortcut to that Mac on your main Mac. A double click will then wake it up. (all you have to do is quite the screen sharing window).

Drag VNC address to your desktop. and then just double click on it to wake up sleeping Mac.

Could you post a snapshot of your Energy Saver Preferences please?

Checking my setup again, it looks as the reconnection problem is mainly with my iPad.

Although I can confirm that Universal Control won’t wake up either an iPad or another Mac.

Try with only “Prevent” checked on both, might fix.

I didn’t expect that, either. But it does seem to work that way. Question: after you wake the Mac Mini, does Universal Control reconnect? Or not? I’m having problems with it reconnecting.

I can confirm I'm seeing the same issue here. What's worse, it won't remember the screen arrangement. I Like to have mine set so the "remote" screen is on the top, but it defaults back to the default of the "remote" screen being on the right after it has gone to sleep.

When? Because your displays are set to turn off after 1 hour…you responded in 12 minutes 🤔

Workaround is invalid for enterprise devices that will not permit external connections.

Need the bug fix to wake on LAN with Universal Control.
