Screen damage.

My daughter uses my iPhone 11, the top of the screen is black, difficult to see more than half the screen, any ideas what could have caused this? There are no cracks on the screen.

Well, if I had to guess, I'd say something failed or is broken.

Whatever happened, us speculating on what cause it won't fix anything.

Make an appointment at the genius bar and have it checked out.
