Sign in to appleTV+

when i try to sign in it keeps saying i need an iTunes account, why is this?

Access to the Apple TV+ streaming service requires an Apple ID account that has the Apple TV+ subscription linked to it.

To subscribe to Apple TV+, your Apple ID account should be valid for iTunes Store services: full users details, a verified email address (respond to test message), and a valid payment method.

If you get the mentioned message, then your account information is probably incomplete, or the payment method isn’t valid for subscriptions.
