How do I change the picture that is shown as the still to represent each video in iPhotos on the computer Mac application?

Hi
I assume you mean the photos app which replaced iPhoto some years ago.
Open the video for editing. Click in the time line where you want to select the still frame. An option "make poster frame" pops up. Click it. Exit edit mode.
