air pods hurt

My AirPods Pro hurt my ears. Like I;m inserting razor blades in my ears every time I wear them. No matter the size of ear tips I use. I can't be the only one?

I've had my airpods for about 9 months now and they have been working great, but the last 3 days I have been on a call and there is a loud ear piercing screeching noise in both ears that happens mid-call. Its so loud and high pitched that I've had to rip my Airpods out of my ears and I think it is causing some hearing damage. my air pods when they are full volume it only sounds like half when using my airpods i have the volume up all the way but can only beryl hear them, yet every one around me can here it. I have had them a little over a year and have already tried cleaning them nothing seems to work. i worked hard to get them and i am not ready to throw them away please help!!!!
