App specific passwords
Generated app specific password and tried to put I cloud mail on my Samsung which I used to have but g mail and outlook not accepting it, any ideas.?
I have to generate app specific password for my icloud mail, in mail app on windows 10 computer.
It is done through manage apple id, generate app specific password. I give it name first, generate,
then copy and paste into windows mail app, password spot. Every time I change password I have to
do this again. I used to be able to do it once, and would directly copy and paste, now I have to write
down generated password and do it, 5 to 10 times before it will accept the password. Each time it has
to be given a different name. Is any one else having to do it multiple times for it to work?
My computer adds the gmail and outlook without generated app specific password. I have to generate
only for icloud email.
