CarPlay audio issues on cellular
I have the iPhone 12 ProMax, 2020 Nissan Altima Platinum & 2019 Nissan Murano SL.
There is an audio issue while using cellular in both vehicles. The call audio starts off fine, but within a minute or two into the conversation the sound becomes muffled and incomprehensible. I had my device checked a few times with Apple directly and they found no issues. They even agreed to replace the guts of my phone before the warranty expiration date. After doing so, the issue continues.
I believe the issue to be with CarPlay as I had involved both Apple and my phone provider (Telus), but both investigated and found no issues with their product or network. Through process of elimination, I feel that it is with CarPlay, as when I disconnect the phone from CarPlay the bluetooth sound is clear with no issues.
Anyone else encounter similar issues? How was it resolved?
