Regarding printing from ipad pro

So, I am supposed to get the URL from Safari to get the VPN to get my iPad Pro to recognize my printer, intercept the local network? Seriously, is this a game. I tested printing on a friends printer and it worked remotely so I have proof that it does work, there but not at my office or home even when plugged in. I need baby steps to walk through this maze, I have tried so many times, I have lost count. Calling apple resulted in an I don’t know or iPads do not print. Yikes!

Have you read the articles that sberman provided?

I have never had any problem printing from either of my iPad Pros, nor my wife’s iPad Air. (My iPhone 11 has no problems, either.)

You do need to make sure your iPad is using the same Wi-Fi network as the AirPrint printer.

(Of course, you also need to make sure the AirPrint printer is properly set up.)

The provided articles should give you all you need.

My phone nor my ipad will print from either printers in different locations. Both are on the list, I tried at a friends and her printer printed, Mine says says it no printer found and does not give the option of listing the printer.
