Playlists won't stay in folder

I frequently create playlists of albums and stick them in a folder. This worked great for a long time, but over the last few months, this technique has been spotty at best. The playlist will not stay in the folder and will return to the Playlist menu (left column) as if it had never been moved. This is happening across all devices.

There seems to be a number of threads dedicated to Playlist issues. Do we have a fix for them yet?
