I am having an issue with a streaming app. Items I have chosen to add to my list do not get added to the list. This happens on both Roku and the channel's website. The app help desk wants to know if I have VPN I do not think I do, but I am not sure. I've tried googling How do I know if my Mac has a VPN?, but all I can find is how to install it.

I asked how to tell if I already had a VPN connection, not how to add one.
I figured it out and it's simple: On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Network
Then, look at the list on the left.

Set up a VPN connection on Mac - Apple Support describes how to set up and remove a VPN:
"To remove the VPN configuration, select the VPN network connection service in the list and click the Remove button."
I think John told you exactly where to look to see if you had a VPN installed. From John's post and linked to instructions:
"To remove the VPN configuration, select the VPN network connection service in the list and click the Remove button."
Which to me indicate that the VPN would be shown in the list if installed.
