So auto updated this morning only to find out I can't full screen one of my displays or the other one would be blank and become useless. Apple just releasing bugs filled update now? what a joke man.
just found a way to fix it.
I had to go to System Preferences > Mission Control and make sure you check the option that says "Displays have separate Spaces".
It will require you to logout for the changes to be applied.

Updated and nothing changed. The monitor is still detected but during zoom meeting if someone full screen it would bug out one of the screens to be blank rather than able to utilize for other tasks. Example: running IDE to program on one monitor while in the meeting on the other.
current version: Monterey 12.3.1.
Yes it is, my mac was working fine - but i mistakenly let the auto update on, it upadted to Monterey 12.3.1 and basically I can't full screen one of my displays or the other one would be blank and become useless, killing the whole point of having an extra screen
Hey thanks for the reply, I actually found the exact same solution a while back, Idk why the operating system decided to uncheck everything after the update, but either way it was quite a problematic thing for a couple days because it made having external monitor absolutely pointless when one screen is blank due to the "Displays have separate spaces" is unchecked.
Was this update the 12.3.1? If not then update and see what happens.
