Dual screens
I'm wanting to connect my 2017 MacBook Air to an iMac so that I can use both screens. Is this possible?
What model iMac will I need to purchase? And what connector will I need?
Thank you.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.13

Sorry, that will not work with a cabled connection because neither of those Mac's support Target Display Mode.
please carefully read > Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support

FWIW, if you run Monterey on your MacBook Air, you can Airplay to a 2019 or later iMac, also running Monterey.
