Chrome Screen Recording (Sharing) permission always breaks

After the last 3 Chrome updates the settings in MacOS Security & Privacy gets lost for screen recording. And now the latest MacOS update (12.3.1) also kills the screen recording setting for Chrome. This is extremely annoying to have all my users constantly re-add and or re-enable Chrome's screen recording setting. Not sure who to blame at this point, but every other meeting app (Zoom, Slack, Teams, etc.) retains the setting just fine. Anyone know anything about this?

Sound like you should contact Google/Chrome Support personnel on this matter.

Of course. And they in turn pointed the finger at Apple.
