Adding payment method when payment is due and pending

How can I add a payment method (new credit card) when a 'click add payment' is not available on iphone? I am not able to Remove Current Payment Method because a payment is currently due. The credit card previously used has been closed/cancelled and is no longer available for use.

On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.
