External monitor issues over Satechi hub

I have a 2021 M1 pro 16' machine with a Satechi hub (https://satechi.net/products/type-c-multi-port-adapter-with-ethernet-v2?variant=45020091145). I have two external monitors and am using them in clamshell mode.

Monitor which is connected directly to a MacBook is working great, but the one which goes over the hub is randomly shutting down, at least once a minute. It turns black for a few seconds and then it turns back on. I tried changing cables, and changing monitors, it is always the one via hub which is causing the issues. Any ideas on how to fix this?

The M1 MacBook Pro Supports more than one external monitor.

Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at 1 billion

colors and:

Up to two external displays with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz at over a billion colors (M1 Pro) or

Up to three external displays with up to 6K resolution and one external display with up to 4K resolution at 60Hz at over a billion colors (M1 Max)

MacBook Pro 14- and 16-inch - Technical Specifications - Apple

The 13" MacBook Pro (and MacBook Air)only supports one external monitor.

Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at millions of colors and:

  • One external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz

MacBook Pro 13-inch - Technical Specifications - Apple

I think the problem is the hub.
