iPhone 12 Pro camera only working in portrait mode.

My iPhone recently had a damaged screen and since having it replaced (all connections to camera where checked) it won’t save photos taken in default mode ,to camera roll. It does work in portrait mode but is slow to change mode and freezes frequently. Video seems fine too. It works perfectly from WhatsApp and messenger.
