dropbox files locked

I have more users on mac. They are all normal users except one admin.

For normal users, dropbox files are locked even if they have read/write permissions from dropbox side.

Switching any user to admin the problem disappear.

They cannot be all admin for privacy reason.

What can I do ?

I do not have permission to view my folders. I recently renamed my iMac HD because I get confused by DropBox showing Mac and Mac 2 in the folders. That's the most recent thing I did, and now I cannot open any of my folders on my iMac because I do not have permission to it. I followed the suggestion to Get Info and then unlock the folder. The unlock button can be toggled, but the folder locks again right after. I do not see the Sharing Permission button on my Get Info pop-up, as suggested in other videos. Please help, I cannot access any of my folders. At this point, my iMac is functioning just like a big iPhone.

Libraries and different user accounts Recurring issue where events created by one user show up as damaged when opened by another user (on same Mac). Libraries live on external hard drives. I have opened the permissions on the Library but now I have to do individual events as well? There has to be an easier way. How can I set a user to make new files that are permissioned Read & Write for all users?
