I have the same exact issue. I'm on a PC, and tried using Chrome and Firefox. It does not appear that Apple gives a flying hoot, since this is an ongoing problem, and they are not answering or coming up with any solutions that actually work. I'm trying to free up space on my iPhone.

May 1st, still happening to me as well. The last time I was able to download them without a problem was mid-February. I'm doing it from Chrome and instead of it showing the 'download' icon, it's showing a cloud icon. DEFINITELY different from the past as I've never had a problem prior.

The other thing I notice that's different for me is when I'm viewing the photos, it used to have the EXACT date above each group of photos. Now it's a generalized date... "April 30-May 1" or "February 2022". Has anyone noticed that as well?
