mac mini shows purple/green on display

I'm using a View Sonic monitor with a new mac Mini m1. For whatever reason, the color on this monitor has extremely saturated purple and yellow green colors. The monitor works perfect with an old Mac Pro and also my MacBook pro laptop. The Mac Mini also works when hooked up to an Asus monitor. Have tried several different port connections and nothing has worked. 4 trips to the genius bar and no one has a solution. I have been corresponding with View Sonic but they currently don't have an answer either.

Has anyone had this issue and/or a solution?

Open system preferences > displays > display settings. Then find the drop down menu that says “color profile” open that and change the color profile. I will often use the “Generic RGB Profile” for mine.

You also might have a color filter on. To disable this, go to system preferences > accessibility > display > color filters. Uncheck the box that says enable color filters.
