High Sierra to Mojave

I'm trying to install Mojave on a MacBook Air 2017. When selecting the disk to install the new OS I get a message saying 'You may not install to this volume because it is currently being encrypted.' What is this all about?

MacBook Air 13″, 10.13

Hi,

Did you turn on FileVault or did you select "encrypted" as a format type when erasing the drive? I'd give it overnight to finish up and then try again.

The use will have to Wait for the Decryption to Finish before attempting to do the upGrade to Mojave.
