Apple Watch 3 issues connecting with iPhone 13

My Apple 3 watch and my phone say they are connected in Bluetooth. However when I try to do a software update on my watch the phone says it can’t detect the watch which is right next to it. I also can’t find my phone with my watch. Neither device is in airplane mode.

Watch not connecting??? I just got a new Apple Watch and it will not pair, my phone can’t find it on Bluetooth and my watch can’t find my phone, I already checked if airplane mode on and it’s not, I’m connected to WIFI on both devices. I tried to factory reset it to repair and I won’t work I even did a hard reset and it did work still shows all my apps, contacts, etc. what do I need to try or do to get it to work?

apple watch connectivity Has anyone had trouble connecting there watch to a new iPhone 11 we have dumped everything off the watch made sure it is ready to go but still the phone cannot find it and I cannot set it up manually getting frustrated.
