Just checked with several family members with iPhone 13’s and they are not having this issue themselves. I am a fellow forum member just as you are and can only point you in a helpful direction. I myself don’t have the issue either.

if you see I’m my screenshot I posted in this comment its blurry and keeps going back to being blurry after I go to settings display and brightness and switching from light to dark mode. Even after force restarting it several times it still happens again and again.

Then if you think it is a common problem sit back and wait for a fix or reset to factory and start again, but as I have never seen it reported before I would take it to Apple Store for a service or replacement.

Not an opinion shared by many on here. If your iphone unusually has a blurry screen then do as Katana-San suggested and after that invoke your free Apple Support.

Here is what worked for me. It had everything to do with the picture I was using for my wallpaper. It started happening when I changed the picture. I just changed it again and the blurred corner went away. Maybe my pic was too big?

Hmm that’s interesting. Honestly I recently got the phone and it’s still the background they provided to me! Haha Maybe if I change it it’ll go away? Idk. Seems odd to me that it happens to so many people. Every time it happens I just restart and it goes away so not a huge deal just figured maybe there was a long term solution. Thanks for the comment!

Yes today it happened to me too and I’m going away in a few days I hope it doesn’t happen again although i followed the advice but the blurry thing came back again so I just did the same thing as before

Experiencing the same thing. Got the device for only over a week ago.

I noticed that it’s happening everytime the orientation switches from landscape to portrait. What I do is also change the appearance settings. From dark to light then going back to dark again.

yesterday i had this issue that confused me a lot.

The Top left corner of my screen became blurred on iOS 15.6 so i did not see the operator anymore.

it lasts only five minutes.

the lock screen (notification screen with your finger go top to back) had not this issue but the operator name was followed by « wifi call »

i just close the screen and wait and it disappeared (i did not reboot phone)

I suspect a hacker attack.

How can i be sure ?

stop saying go fix your phone or contact apple, this is a software bug, apple knows about it, they don't know how to fix it, that's all.

happens when app is in landscape mode, notifications are pulled down, notification is tapped of an app that supports only portrait mode.

Hello ~ You are addressing the person who themselves has/had the same issue. I am not having this issue with my iPhone so it cannot be a software issue or we would all have it…right? I see that no one in this thread is telling you to “go fix your phone or contact apple” Although that may be exact what you need to do.

I’m having this issue as well and it is now September and I’ve had my iPhone for only a couple months. Obviously it’s a software issue cuz all of us have it or we wouldn’t be here now would we? Plus I see so many comments saying “go fix your phone” or “go to the apple store”. Apple won’t do anything if it’s software and not the phone itself so no point in going to the store.

I think the cause has to do with picture in picture mode. If you watch a youtube video but you get a text so you go to your messages the video is there in the top of the screen. It happened to me for the second time last night, and what was i doing? Well i was indeed watching anime on crunchyroll and mid watch i checked a text. Or maybe has to do with swiping the top corners down considering the screen get blurry mid swipe. Idk man thats what i think. Only confusion is why switching day/night mode the fix? Maybe cause it drastically changes the display of your phone? For any ipad users, does this problem happen to you?

Go to Settings, then Display & Brightness, switch between Light and Dark modes. That works for me. But still the question why it happens and happens to so many people?
