Can't update studio display
I keep getting
"Apple Studio Display firmware update could not be completed. Try again in an hour. If the problem persists, contact an authorized Apple service provider."
How to fix this?

Me too, brought it into Apple like they said to and they couldn’t get it to update either. They tried on their display model too, and they got the same error.
Was it 15.4 or now 15.4.1 that you installed. I doubt the macOS update was what helped.
Camera improvements?
Just an update. Looks like Apple is now signing 15.4 again (as of Sunday evening).
If you try updating now it should work…..
I do not know the real reason, but connecting Apple Studio Display to a different USB-C port, solved the issue for me.
Update: My Studio Display successfully updated.
Same. Hope the camera is improved. I left it updating and went to bed, since there’s an OS update to run as well.
The camera is NOT improved at all. It really is awful.
Mine randomly updated yesterday successfully. Can't say anything I did had an effect, so it must be Apple side. Just try again!
It would be nice to have a timeline on these camera improvements.
