iPad Pro Gen 2-wish to connect to MacBook Pro and Power simultaneously.

As noted above, I want to be able to connect my IPad to the MacBook Pro. I use OBS and Zoom to host caricature parties. I have wanted to use the IPAD as the drawing window, and the most direct, reliable way to use it in OBS is a direct, wired connection to the MacBook. However, the drawing software drains the IPad, and the MacBook does not provide juice to keep the IPad charged (even though the IPad display says the battery is at 100%-it actually had drained to 10.) Anyhow, is there a working splitter that can do the job?
