I’m experiencing ads that play audio even when I turn off the sound on my iPhone. (Not just silence — I turn the volume all the way down) It’s not all ads — just some. (The main culprit is a Wordle ad.) What can be done to override this? I play games to fall asleep, but the volume wakes my husband.

Important: Clock alarms, audio apps such as Music, and many games play sounds through the built-in speaker, even when silent mode is on. In some countries or regions, the sound effects for Camera, Voice Memos, and Emergency Alerts are played, even when the Ring/Silent switch is set to silent.
