French accents on MacBook Pro

It's really quite easy. Go to System Preferences - Region and add a French Keyboard. I use the Fr Can CSA version but there is a regular French one as well. If you want to move between FR and ENG, just tap the globe at the bottom left of the MacBook keyboard. This is the same process as on an iMac.

French accented characters can also be made on a standard English keyboard by two methods:


+Hold and Press any vowel key and you should get a popup menu where you can choose the accented version you want.


+Use the standard option key shortcuts, like Option e then e produces é. A full list is at
