Hi, I connected an external drive with all the photos I picked the ones I m interested in to C/C and I clicked on SAVE IMAGE. It would be great to find that image since it’s nowhere to be found…

Hello ddmm.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. If you're attempting to locate missing photos on your iPad Pro, this resource should be able to help you: If you're missing photos or videos in the Photos app - Apple Support

Go to Photos > Albums, and tap Recently Deleted in the Utilities section. If you see the missing photo or video, you can move it back into your Recents album.

If you did not sync photos to your iPad but attempted to move specific photos to the Files app. You might want to check the iCloud website directly to see if photos were transferred over properly.

iCloud - Apple

Sign in and check the Files app on the iCloud website. If you have sub-folders created in the Files app, check each one individually. If files or photos are not updating to your Files app/iCloud Drive, this resource can help:

Access iCloud Drive files from your iPhone and other devices - Apple Support

If your files don't update to iCloud Drive:

1.) Make sure that you have enough iCloud storage. If you need more space in iCloud, you can buy more iCloud storage or free up space by deleting content.
2.) Sign in to iCloud on all of your devices and turn on iCloud Drive.
3.) Make sure that you have an active Internet connection on your Mac and on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
4.) Install the latest versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. See which versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote you can use with iCloud Drive.
5.) Create a new document and save it to see if it uploads to iCloud. If it does, see if your other documents start uploading.

If you tried these steps and your files still don’t upload to iCloud, stay signed in to iCloud and save your updated files to a different folder on your Mac or PC. Then contact Apple Support for more help.

If your issue is something completely different, please share more in-depth details with us. We'll continue to assist you. Cheers.
