Sound issues when paired with Bose SoundLink

I have a Bose SoundLink Mini that started making a tinny/staticy noise today when there's a drum beat in the song. This started after upgrading to Monterey 12.3.1. thought it was a hardware issue with the SoundLink, but it's only doing this when connected to my MacBook Pro. If I connect it to my iPhone, it doesn't do it. I reset the SoundLink and unpaired all devices, as well as restarted the MacBook Pro, and it's still doing it. It's something about the combination of the Bose device and my MacBook. My mic is not using the SoundLink. Any thoughts?

Hello,

Thank you for your response. Yes it's definitely the correct output, and I tried changing the output settings with no success. The issue seems to be intermittent.. however, it happens about 75% of the time since I updated the OS regardless of the audio.

MacBook + Airpods = no issue

iPhone + SoundLink = no issue

For some reason, it only seems to be an issue when it's the MacBook paired with the SoundLink. I also have had it not more than a foot from my MacBook, so I also know it's not related to how far away they are.

Thank you.
