MacBook Pro mid 2015 battery issue

Hi, I've been experiencind certain problems with my battery lately.

I purchased a second-hand MacBook Pro Mid 2015 mid February, and it came with a new battery installed in December 2021. It had 3 cycles. However, as of couple of days ago, the battery did not want to charge to 100%, and when the charger is in the battery status says 10 more hours to go, or that it's on AC power.

At this particular example, the battery was charged to 63% in 4+ hours, and the battery preferences said it was charged to 100% (see the attached image).

I reset the SMC, but it seems that did not resolve my issue. Could this be a software thing, cause the battery worked like a charm literally up until 4 days ago? Any advices? Thanks.

The capacity of your battery has diminished to 94%. This is a normal progression of battery aging. Apple recommends the battery be serviced (replaced) when this gets to 80%, and that could take years. My 2016 MBP has been at 89% for a couple of years; progression is not linear.

I have a similar issue with my new MacBook Pro M1 Max that I bought last year. Did you installed the last version of Monterey? I'm asking because after I installed that version a few days ago, the battery does not go to full charge. Some times it does, but I have to unplug it, wait until it gets in the low 70s% and plug it again. That's the only way to get it to fully charge. I'm starting to think this is a bug on the new Monterey. Here is my discussion MacBook Pro M1 Max not charging battery i… - Apple Community
