Hi all,
For some reason, my Voice Memos app is taking up a whopping 27GB on my iPhone XR. I tried deleting all the voice memos on my phone, and I'm still getting the same result. I've also tried resetting it a few times. I'm about to try to restore it from a backup, but if anyone else has other ideas or has run into this before, please let me know. Thanks!

Hello Kobozo,
After you deleted the Voice Memos, did you clear them out of the Recently Deleted folder as well? If not, they'll still take up space until they automatically clear out of that folder in 30 days.
In the Voice Memos app select the back button at the top left and see if you have a Recently Deleted folder showing. If you do, and there's items in there you'll want to clear them out to free up that space.

same here, it’s actually frustrating now, because it prevents me from taking pictures… what do I do!!! Apple please please fix this!!! Kind of urgent!
My voicememo app is stuck as well and says it's taking up 3TB of storage when it's been deleted including all of the actual voice memos. I can't backup my phone. This is a serious problem.
I have the same problem on my iPhone 12 128gb, almost 97gb of data used.

Mine says the same thing. Taking up 800GB of storage (which is impossible) and now my phone is at full capacity and I’ve done everything with the app to fix it and it’s still says 800GB taken up
