Hi all,
For some reason, my Voice Memos app is taking up a whopping 27GB on my iPhone XR. I tried deleting all the voice memos on my phone, and I'm still getting the same result. I've also tried resetting it a few times. I'm about to try to restore it from a backup, but if anyone else has other ideas or has run into this before, please let me know. Thanks!

I am experiencing the same issue. My iPhone (8 - 256GB capacity) is saying it is pretty much full with Voice Memos taking 49TB (which is impossible). So far I have tried:
None of these have worked.
Please provide guidance on how to fix this issue asap. Now I can't use my phone as it constantly throws messages about your iPhone is full, manage storage, etc.
same here, it’s actually frustrating now, because it prevents me from taking pictures… what do I do!!! Apple please please fix this!!! Kind of urgent!
My voicememo app is stuck as well and says it's taking up 3TB of storage when it's been deleted including all of the actual voice memos. I can't backup my phone. This is a serious problem.
I have the same problem on my iPhone 12 128gb, almost 97gb of data used.

Mine says the same thing. Taking up 800GB of storage (which is impossible) and now my phone is at full capacity and I’ve done everything with the app to fix it and it’s still says 800GB taken up

Anyone find a solution? Where are all the apple employees??? I try to delete the app and data, it just pops right back up like a zombie….can’t get rid of it, can’t kill it….
You need to reset all settings. Go to Settings -> General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset All Settings.
Hay Bro, i have the same Problem and its like 2,1 TB ,,,, due to not enough storage, i cant do nothing.
I have tried to make a backup, but not possible.. did u solve it?

Deleting App and reinstalling worked finally to release all memory!
I deleted the app, reinstalled it with other icloud ID and the problem was solved! Then you can delete and install once again with your own ID.
