My iPhone 11 won’t connect to headphones

My new pair of headphones suddenly stopped playing. I tried numerous times to reconnect them and only once they made a clicking sound, started playing normally for a minute, then stopped again. I read the article and checked for debris, headphone damage, etc. I got my old pair of headphones and plugged them in and they also didn’t play. My mom got a new pair of headphones last week and they work on her phone, but not mine. My phone also works fine with Bluetooth headphones, such as my brother’s AirPods, so what’s the deal?
