Setting up my MacBook Air

Just got a new MacBook Air and I’m trying to set it up with my AppleID and it keeps saying “error in connecting with AppleID server”.

Any hints?

Hi,

See If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services - Apple Support and "If you tried all of the above steps and you still can’t connect, contact Apple Support."

You might perform your own a “self-check” to ensure that something else isn’t amiss;

From another computer’s browser, can you successfully log-in to https://appleid.apple.com/ ?
