Ipad pro 10.5 keeps turning off at random

My ipad is a bit on the older side 4ish years of use by now but it's in perfect condition and I take care of it really well, it's practically brand new.

For the last couple of days Ive been having an issue were it just turns off at random, sometimes while in use, sometimes when it's just locked. The apple logo shows up when it's turning off and I can usually turn the device back on when I plug in it into power or I press the lock button for a minute. My device is up to date in software and all apps are up to date as well.

So far I've tried:

1) Force restarting the device

2) erase and restore from backup

Anything further i can try or do you think it's a bug and I'll have to wait till the next software update?

As described, your battery may well have reached the end of its usable life - and may require replacement.

You might be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store - where the technicians will be able to test, assess and offer advice on how to proceed. Alternatively, you might directly contact Apple Support and request a remote battery diagnostic.
