Iphone 8 plus Front camera not recording sound on the Camera app even with Airpods connected but Voice Memos and Instagram front camera works fine

Hi all, the front camera of my Iphone 8 plus suddenly stopped recording sound besides static and a faint clicking noise, I tried connecting my airpods to see if it will work but it failed to record sound either. I think that it might be a software issue as I used the voice memos and the recording sounded clear, the same as the instagram front camera. The back camera also works perfectly and is able to record sound. I rarely uses the front camera so I don't know exactly when this started to happen and if it was caused by a software update. I've already cleaned the microphones and did a reset and restore from backup but it didn't do anything.
