How accurate is the location of Find my AirPods Pro when lost?

I forgot my AirPods at a hotel and it keept changing locations in the lobby to other wings of the hotel for some time and since then it has been stable. Since last night it shows a location in red of both the pods separately. Does it mean the AirPods are out of battery ?

Hey vin2212,

It appears that you're having some problems locating your lost AirPods Pro using Find My, and we're glad to provide assistance.

How to find your lost AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max - Apple Support -- The red dot next to your AirPods means that the device(s) are offline. This may be an indication that the battery has run out, but they're definitely no longer connected with the internet. This article explains what you are able to do in this type of situation. You may want to see if turning on the Find My network helps.

All the best.
